How to Make a Wedding Card with Katie Skilton form Sizzix

Hello…

I am back with Three Sizzix shows on the 22nd November at 3pm, 6pm and 9pm.  I will be featuring some of my favourite die sets from this year all designed by My Life Handmade.

Today I want to share a quick tutorial using one of these die sets - Sizzix Thinlits Die Set - Wedding by My Life Handmade.

Materials:

  • Sizzix Thinlits Die Set - Wedding by My Life Handmade
  • Cardstock
  • Adhesive Stones

Method;

Step 1
Create a card blank by folding and scoring dark grey cardstock.  Trim the peach strip to go down the centre of the card and a panel of white and grey.

Step 2
Add all the layers to the card and add the main panel using 3D foam pads.

Step 3
Die cut the cake in three colours and the Mr & Mrs sentiment.

Step 4
Layer the cake together and adhere to the card.  Add the Mr & Mrs sentiment.

There you have a quick and simple wedding card that would be perfect for wedding invites too.

Remember to join me on the 22nd November to see all of the other My Life Handmade sets.

Until then…

Katie

Barbara Gray - Giveaway

Who caught the wonderful demonstrations from Barbara Gray on Sunday, and again yesterday?  Barbara inspired us all, as ever, and we had some busy shows.  Barbara even jumped onto the phones to help with a customer query!  That's the beauty of having our customer services and order line in house - and brilliant guests who are happy to have a natter to our callers. Barbara has also, generously, donated one of the pieces from the show, as a giveaway on todays blog post. Isn't it beautiful.   If you would like a chance to win this masterpiece, then all you need to do is leave a comment on this post, and someone will be picked at random tomorrow evening. Good luck everyone. Tune in to Hochanda every day 24/7 for lots of fun and crafty demonstrations!
