Can you remember the very first card you made? Yes I can totally remember the first card I made - it was a stamped butterfly coloured with coloured pencils mounted onto an A6 card with some handmade paper and glitter glue! I think my Gran might even still have it! Who is your inspiration in the craft world? I would have to say it would be my Grandma, she's the one who got me started crafting from when I was about 7 and really inspired my passion for stamping. She's very arty too and does lots of different crafts - over the years she has done mosaics, painting, teddy bear making and lots more! When do you come up with your ideas & designs? Welcome back to the Hochanda blog.  Yesterday I promised I would give another take on the heart wreath stamp from Chloe .  When buying craft supplies, it's important to attempt to get different finishes, and therefore get real value for money - I think this is why I enjoy stamping so much.  Just this one stamp has given me so many idea's.  And let's face it, that can sometimes be our stumbling block. For this card I also used the snowflake background stamp from Chloe.  This is a very pretty stamp, and the snowflakes are so delicate yet intricate.  First I used my Versamark ink pad.  The versamark pad is one all stampers should own.  You can use it with your embossing powders or your mica powders - but it also acts as a "watermark" pad.  This means, it will produce a watermark effect when stamped on your card.  This creates a lovely background, subtle and sophisticated. Hi again, Jenny here with another card I made using the lovely Heart Wreath stamp from Chloe.  I wanted to show how versatile this stamp is, and how different it can look.  The first time I used it was with the MDF (see earlier post), but this time I used it with my gold embossing powder and distress inks: I stamped and embossed on card and then inked around the edges using my distress ink.  I spritzed it with water, to allow the inks to move and blend.  Whilst the paper was still quite damp, I created the creases at the top and bottom of the image.   Using the Cosmic Shimmer coloured PVA, I've added a little texture, and when dry they keep their shape, so look like faux pearls. The edge of the card has been created using the edge of the stamp. Hi, it's Jenny, and this is my first crafty project for the Hochanda blog. It started with a visit to the studio, where they run the live shows from, but they also keep all the crafty "samples".  These are basically the lovely crafty things you see on the telly...and I got to wander around and pick what I wanted to use!  It was really tricky, to be honest, where do you start.  I opted for some of the stamps Chloe has brought to us, and I went for Christmas designs.  I like making Christmas decorations, I think they make a lovely gift idea. Firstly I dug out some of my MDF, and prepped a few pieces at the same time.  First with black acrylic paint, which I allowed to dry: I applied the paint with a sponge, as it's really quick and you only need a little paint for a good coverage.
