Hello… If you are anything like me you still have Christmas cards to make and things to decorate the home. That is why I am back on the 1st December at 8pm and the 2nd December at 9am, 12pm, 4pm and 7pm to give you some last minute festive inspiration. I have some beautiful dies to bring you along with the One Day Special. One of the dies I am bringing to you is the Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 7PK - Box, Pillow & Poinsettias.  This is a beautiful die for creating gorgeous gift wrap and table gifts. Here is how to make it: Materials: Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 7PK - Box, Pillow & Poinsettias Patterned paper Cardstock Glitter washi tape Twine Method: Step 1  Die cut 2 of the pillow box sides from patterned paper. Step 2 Using strong double sided tape adhere together. Step 3 Wrap the wash tape around the centre of the box. Step 4 Die cut the poinsettia as shown. Step 5 Piece together the poinsettia. ...

Hello… I am looking forward to being back on Hochanda on the 9th November and bringing you some of your festive favourites! I will be bringing you a variety of dies from Bigz to Thinlits. Today I want to share a quick tutorial with you, looking at how to create a gift tag and makes those festive gifts a wow factor. Materials: Sizzix Bigz Die - Reindeer Sizzix Framelits Die Set - Tags Sizzix Thinlits Die Set - Holiday Words Cardstock Patterned Paper Distress Ink - Walnut Stain Mica Spray - Bronze Pipe Cleaner Twine Method: Step 1 Die cut 2 tags and layer together to make it firm.   Step 2 Die cut the reindeer and add Distress Ink.  Spritz with the Mica Spray and heat dry.   Step 3 Trim strips of card and die cut the words, distress with Distress Ink.   Step 4  Distress the edge of the tags and adhere the Reindeer using 3D foam pads.  Back the letters onto go...

Hello… Have you started to think about your Christmas crafting yet? Today I want to share a project made using one of the latest dies from Sizzix - Tri-fold Card, Snowflake. This beautiful intricate die will create a card with clever folds and beautiful designs as quickly as you can run it through your Big Shot! Materials: Sizzix Thinlits Die Set Tri-fold Card, Snowflake Cardstock Gems 3D Foam Pads Wet Glue Method: Step 1 Die cut the main card element. Step 2 Die cut the large snowflake in the centre and trim out of the card. Step 3 Adhere the snowflake over the one cut into the card. Step 4 Die cut all of the other chose elements. Step 5 Layer the snowflake together using 3D foam pads. Step 6 Layer the wording and adhere to the card. It really is as simple as that. You can be making beautiful, intricate...

Get the perfect centrepiece this Christmas with this beautiful, unique countdown advent using steel wool and stars woven from Vivi Gade paper star strips from the Creativ Company. Four white pillar candles, each decorated with zinc tags with punched out numbers, are fixed onto candle holders with a point and pushed into the wreath. The wreath is decorated further with small transparent glass Christmas baubles. Step 1 Cover the wreath with steel wool. Attach with silver plated wire.  Step 2 Weave 24 small stars using the narrow paper star strips and 4 large stars using the wide paper star strips. Follow the instructions printed on the back of the packaging of the paper star strips. NB: Weave the large stars with only upstanding points on one side. She's travelled all the way from Denmark to bring you incredible shows across three days, showcasing the Christmas paper range from Creativ Company. Lotte will be bringing you lots of demonstrations throughout her shows on how you can use all of these beautiful papers to create a Scandi Christmas this year. Here's just one of the projects Lotte will be showing this week...  Step 1. Half two 2.5cm wide paper star strips. Now only use three of the four paper star strips. Step 2. Double over each of the three paper star strips and cut all the ends at an angle. Put a star strip around another star strip and fold it tightly three times around this star strip.
