Good afternoon, and how is everyone today.  Today, after a raid of the craft samples, I decided to have a experiment with MDF again, but this time I have picked the snowflakes.  I really like these, they make wonderful gifts, decorations or gift tags.  And MDF will allow you to use any type of paint, ink, paper - it allows for experimentation. If you would like to get hold of the MDF kits I am using, just follow this link: MDF Blanks I began with covering my MDF with Gesso.  I sponged it on, making sure I actually got bubbles in the work.  When I heat set it, it gave me some lovely texture: You may require a few layers of gesso to get a full coverage.  I then applied a little of the Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud Blending Ink.  I sponged a little onto the edges of the snowflake.  I literally "bounced" the sponge onto the MDF, so I achieved a feathered finish at the edges.  Blast it with the heat gun, then bounce some of the ges...
