A Little Bit of Stitch and Sparkle

Watch out for Rob tomorrow, who will be bringing these pretty Sparkle Stitch Cards. This is basically embroidery - but on cards. You may have seen this technique before, it's very pretty, effective, yet easy. The kits have been designed so the stitch count is done for you, to get a perfect result. I don't generally follow instructions, but on this occasion, I made sure I read them properly - and did get a perfect result first time. Start by placing your selected pattern on the central panel of your 3 fold card; There is a pin in the kit which you can use to pierce the holes from the pattern, through the card. I actually had an old tool from X-cut, which worked perfectly, but you can see where I have been experimenting with different tools - and one was just to thick: Thankfully, this didn't make any difference when I did my stitching. Now, follow the pattern to do your stitches. There is plenty of thread in the kit to complete your project. ...
